{"id":585,"date":"2022-04-27T12:01:02","date_gmt":"2022-04-27T12:01:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.iprada.org.et\/?p=585"},"modified":"2026-06-06T17:28:14","modified_gmt":"2026-06-06T17:28:14","slug":"event-four","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.iprada.org.et\/?p=585","title":{"rendered":"African Potato Association Hosts 12th Conference"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>African Potato Association (APA)<\/strong> has confirmed that its <strong>12th Triennial Conference<\/strong> will be held in <strong>Lilongwe, Malawi<\/strong>, from <strong>June 27 to July 1, 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event will focus on the theme <em>\u201cHarnessing Potato and Sweet Potato Innovations for Resilient and Healthier Agri\u2011Food Systems.\u201d<\/em> The conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, and development partners to discuss innovations that strengthen food security and promote sustainable agriculture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">APA President <strong>Dr. Wilkson Makumba<\/strong> noted that the conference is being organized in collaboration with the <strong>Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development<\/strong>, the <strong>International Potato Center (CIP)<\/strong>, and other partners.
