The Potato Research and Development Association (IPRaDA) is a dynamic organization dedicated to advancing the field of potato research and development. IPRaDA is established to address various objectives and fulfill important roles in the potato industry. The founding members of IPRaDA are ARARI, CIP, Concern, EIAR, MoA, Self Help, SolAgrow, SNV and Vita.

Our vision is to be recognized as a leader in potato research and development, driving the sustainable growth and competitiveness of the potato industry in Ethiopia.

Mission:

Our mission is to foster innovation, collaboration, coordination, and sustainable practices in potato research and commercial development for the benefit of farmers, consumers, and the potato industry.

General Objective:

The general objective of the IPRaDA is to promote sustainable growth, competitiveness, and resilience in the potato industry through innovation, coordination, collaboration, capacity building, knowledge dissemination, policy advocacy, sustainability, farmer empowerment, adherence to quality standards, and international collaboration.
